In episode 2 of The Go-To Physio, I break down how to make sense of the objective assessment and being able to link it to the patient’s story. Doing this successfully is what allows me to be successful at steps one and two of my business growth plan (which I discussed in detail on episode 1).
Unless the therapist is clear on the problem and the solution they have no hope of being able to explain this clearly to the patient, and if they can’t explain it to the patient clearly then it’s hard for the patient to adhere to the treatment plan. That’s why I spend so much time on effective explanation with my own therapists and those that I mentor on my mentorship.
